Tailored 1 day course for Dance Tutors (8 hour)

This course demonstrates how a course can be tailored for specific needs and is based on a successfully run course for dance tutors which is regularly run for Yorkshire Dance. It covers the emergency life saving first aid topics required on all first aid qualifications (i.e. the core syllabus of the HSE Approved Emergency First Aid at Work course - commonly known as “Appointed Person” content) and in addition topics relevant to those most common first aid situations which occur in a dance setting whether it be a class or a performance.

There are many ways in which courses can be tailored, but it must be remembered that in 8 hours it is not possible to cover all the content of the longer courses.

A willingness to participate in all practical aspects of the course is essential, as although there is no formal examination, this course is continually assessed by the trainer.
