The Paediatric First Aid course complies with the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage document for children aged from birth to five.
We recognise that children are not small adults – they have physiological differences and particularly with younger children communication can also be a problem. This course addresses these issues with reference to first aid provision.
Training methods are interactive and hands-on, designed to give participants practical skills to deal with children of all ages in any emergency situation.

Pre-requisites and logistics:

There are no pre-requisites to attend this course although participants must be fit enough to bend, kneel and simulate CPR on a manikin.
