Simply turn it on, and follow the prompts.
Remember: you should have already called 999 for an ambulance if using an AED; the call handler will stay on the line and they will also help you with your first aid. If you are using an AED, you WILL be needing to give CPR to the casualty – it is a movie myth that this is not the case.
