Under the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations of 1981 employers are required to provide “adequate and appropriate” equipment, facilities and personnel so that their employees can receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. These Regulations apply to all workplaces (including those with less than five employees and to the self-employed). If you need some help in understanding the legislation and first aid requirements check out the area on our website or contact us.
We run open courses at our training venue located at Meanwood Valley Urban Farm, Leeds (LS7 2QG) for individuals or small groups. If you need a larger number of staff members training then please contact us as we are able to arrange in-house training which can also be tailored to include any additional requirements that may be relevant to your business or workplace.
