Medical Emergencies – for Health Care Professionals
For dental practices, the British Dental Association recommends that training in dealing with Medical Emergencies is undertaken in addition to CPR training for clinical staff. This module is an ideal bolt-on to resuscitation training for any healthcare setting. Any emergency drugs which are held on site and equipment such as oxygen or an automated external defibrillator (AED) will be disscussed as relevant to each condition.
Where this is combined with a CPR/AED course a combined course certificate is usually issued.
